Men's Ministries
Men’s Quarterly Meetings
- A time to gather together, focus on God’s Word, and challenge each other to be proper leaders for the home and church.
- Meets one Friday per quarter
Men’s Bible Study
- Currently going through the Conquer Series, the Battle Plan for Purity.
- Thursdays at 7 PM
Men’s Basketball
- Monday night basketball
- Starts at 7 PM
Women's Ministries
Women’s Outreach
- This group provides spiritual enrichment of the ladies as well as providing numerous services for our church body and missionary families.
- Meets the second Tuesday of every month
Ladies Bible Study
- This group is currently going through the book Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age by Rosaria Butterfield.
- Meets on Friday at 9:30 AM
Virtual Bible Study
- This group is currently going through the book of Hebrews.
- Meets via Zoom on Wednesday at 8:45 PM
College & Career
- Various group outings throughout the year.
Children's Ministries
Nursery
- Ages newborn to 4 years old.
- Available during Sunday School and Morning service
Sunday School Classes
- Meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM
- Children’s Class – for grades pre-k through 6th.
- Teenage Class – for grades 7th through 12th. Activities also include a variety of youth activities throughout the year.
Special Events
- Vacation Bible School – A summer, week-long event, specifically geared for children.
- Reformation Party – Special night of food, fun, and learning on October 31.
Church Community
Home Groups
- BCDH has four different home groups that are located around the city. They are currently learning about Parables. Many groups also include a dinner.
- Meets the third Wednesday of every month
Joint Sunday Evenings
- BCDH along with like minded churches in the city take turns hosting Sunday Evening worship and often a meal.
- Encourages fellowship, encouragement, and community at a broader scale.
- Once a month during the summer at various churches.
Church Wide-Meals
- BCDH hosts numerous church-wide meals throughout the year. This is a great time of fellowship with the church body.
- Typical for holidays and special events like conferences. Sometimes the meal takes place at a park.
Conferences
Spring Missions Conference
- This conference is themed around missions and gives valuable perspective.
- BCDH invites a missionary or two each spring to teach and give insight into their mission.
- In addition, various missionaries visit throughout the year and provide updates to the church.
Summer Retreat
- Many members enjoy a weekend of preaching, special activities, and fellowship at a nearby state park.
- BCDH invites a different speaker each summer to preach at five sessions.
Fall Bible Conference
- A time of learning and fellowship centered around a thematic study of the Bible.
- BCDH invites a different speaker each fall to preach.
Missions
Missionaries of BCDH
- We presently support 20 missionary families serving in various parts of the world.

Special Projects
- BCDH designates extra funds for special mission needs and projects.
- These have included:
- Pastoral training for national pastors
- Giving special funds as needs arise
- Provide assistance for building projects and mission works
Work Trips
- BCDH sends a group to the Indian Training Mission in Mexico to come along side other churches and help with ministry as well as building projects.
Local Outreach
Life Forward of Cincinnati
- Pregnancy resource center ministering to at need women.
- BCDH participates in many of their fundraisers and various needs throughout the year.
Salt and Light Christian Fellowship
- Ministry at Purdue University for international students.
- BCDH families host groups of students each year to expose students to American culture, Christian worship, and apologetics.
BCDH Programs
- Involved throughout the year with caroling and bible studies at the Western Hills Retirement Village.
- Vacation Bible School is a summer ministry of BCDH reaching children of our church and our community.
- Reformation Day takes place on Halloween and is another way to reach children of our community.
