Elders
Kevin Landis
Pastor Kevin Landis serves full-time vocationally at Bible Chapel. His father Lowell was the first pastor of Bible Chapel when it started and he served from 1967-1977. The Landis family moved to the west side during those years and Kevin finished high school at Oak Hills, he then went to Cedarville College and graduated in 1976 with a B.A. in Bible and then from Grace Seminary with a M-Div. in 1980. That same year he married his wife Jackie in March, and in August they came to Bible Chapel where they have been ever since. They have two adult children, Kara and Kyle. Kyle is married to Amy and has one son, Kevin and Jackie’s grandson, Derek James. Other things he enjoys besides pastoring are his children, grandson, golf,
Ray Sauer
Ray has been married to his wife Jan for 43 years. Together they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He is a retired Pipe Fitter / Project Manager. He co-teaches an Adult Sunday School class and volunteers at Life Forward Pregnancy Care Center. Outside of church, he enjoys reading, fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
HA Musser
H.A. is from West Virginia but spent his teenage years in Brazil where his parents moved to serve in a school for missionary children. He graduated from Berea College in 1980 with a degree in Music Education and received a Master of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Arts at the Presbyterian School for Christian Education. H.A. is President and CEO of Santa Maria Community Services, a not-for-profit organization serving families on the Westside of Cincinnati, where he’s worked for 38 years. He is married to Rhonda and they have four children and ten grandchildren. H.A. and Rhonda have been members of Bible Chapel since 1996.
Deacons
Jim Leichter
Jim is Chairman of the Deacons at Bible Chapel. He has been married to an incredible lady, Mary, for 41 years. He is privileged to be a dad to 6 great kids, who now beat me at everything I used to win. He retired as a Union Electrician and still has a part-time career as a Union Electrician. He still enjoys a good electrical challenge! He came to Bible Chapel with his family in 1989. He loves the depth of teaching and fellowship found in abundance at Bible Chapel.
Tim Bill
Tim is the father of 4 children and a grandfather of 11 grandchildren soon to be 12. He enjoys fishing, hunting, college football during bowl season and March madness. He works as a supervisor for Rumpke, a local company where he has worked for 38 years. He and his wife have been members of Bible Chapel for more than 40 years.
Ty Sauer
Ty is a Wealth Management Advisor. He is currently studying at Liberty University to earn his Master of Divinity. He co-teaches a Sunday school at Bible Chapel. Outside of church and work, he enjoys playing golf, reading history, discussing theology, and spending time with his family.
Jordan Sauer
Jordan is a registered Architect. He helps with the children’s ministry at Bible Chapel and also volunteers with Boy Scouts. His hobbies include the outdoors, reading, and physical labor.
Bryce Sauer
Bryce currently works for State Farm Insurance. He is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a degree in finance. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, playing softball, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
Josh Sauer
Josh graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s in construction management. He currently works for Messer Construction. He is a devout member of the church and strives to be as indifferent to the world as possible. In his free time, he enjoys living on the West side, spending time with his family and friends, camping, biking, landscaping on the side, and shooting.
